Even at the highest level, the Neo 16 puts the competition under pressure. At least that’s how our tests and benchmarks compiled in different games see it.
Schenker’s gaming notebook always gets top marks—mind you, without the optional water cooling. However, the manufacturer promises that the built-in Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 can be continuously supplied with a maximum of 175 watts.
And it is given to her – after 5 minutes, after 10 minutes, after 1 hour. The case never overheats and performance should never be throttled. However, the size of the dual fan is unparalleled.
Savings are provided elsewhere
Surprisingly, the excellent performance values never get out of hand financially. Just over €4,000 isn’t much considering the competition with similar performance. This is possible because other equipment is not completely convincing.

Even the mechanical keyboard, which can be considered as another advantage, does not cover all the keys, for example. And Lighting doesn’t offer the same customization options as many competitors, but it’s often more expensive.
Savings are given like a red thread by the features of the equipment. However, if you only look at the gaming performance, the choice is almost inevitable on the XMG Neo 16 E23.
Measured values, benchmarks, and handling and chassis ratings can all be found in our review of the Neo 16 gaming notebook from Schenker.
I’ve been using computers since 1989 and an Intel 8086. I also know the internet before college and university networks were pushed out by corporations and social media. The fascination with technological leaps and social influences has not left me. My greatest interest is in the classic PC in particular – no less so in the laptop, where components have to be with little space and power. So it seems logical that I have been writing technical manuals and product presentations since 2015. My physics studies provide the necessary background knowledge and understanding of connections.
