lately Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalkers It was released, but Final Fantasy XIV isn’t over yet. In a recent producer speech, Naoki Yoshida and the producers offered an outlook on the future of the MMORPG.
MMORPG – This is the keyword. Final Fantasy XIV was hailed by many fans as one of the best parts of the series. But many other fans did not dare to approach it, precisely because it is an MMORPG.
Part of the future plans is that Final Fantasy XIV can be enjoyed not only with other players but also on their own. The core of the plans is a “side-by-side” system, which will be further expanded with update 6.1 and beyond. This allows players to complete scenario dungeons with an array of NPCs.
Patch 6.1 applies a side-by-side system to all dungeons in the A Realm Reborn scenario. With the following patches, Square Enix also wants to expand the system to the dungeons of the Heavensward and Stormblood expansions. In addition, dungeons and low-level trials will be modified to suit new players and the single player experience.
Naoki Yoshida and his team also promise to make graphics improvements in the future. Here it is planned to improve the visual representation of the characters and the game world, which includes aspects such as higher texture resolution, improved material quality, and improved light and shadow effects.
Just in time with the single player plans, the free trial and scheduled enrollment will open to everyone again starting tomorrow. This was discontinued after the release of Endwalker to face server overload.
