The cat is out of the bag! The 7 vs Wild video format by content creator Fritz Meinecke and his team enters the second round. After the first season was well received by the community and racked up millions of views per episode, the successful format is set to have a second season this year. Fritz Minieke announced this in a recent YouTube video.
What’s in 7 vs Wild Season 2? 7 vs Wild Season 2 is set to take the “next level” and be larger than the first season, which aired in late 2021. With 7 vs Wild still playing in Sweden, the Season 2 location will have very different terms and conditions on the participants. Wild Season 2 takes place on a tropical island and should be completely unlike Season 1 in almost every respect. High humidity and humid climate with high temperatures generally await candidates. The tropical island, which participants will visit during the rainy season, has a large forest that also has many characteristics.
In addition to plants, the animal theme will also be especially interesting in Season 7 versus Season 2. The islands and tropical forests provide potential for many insects, spiders, and snakes, but also predators such as crocodiles. Of course, the new logo of the second season, where crocodiles and palm trees can be seen, also indicates the place. The exact country and corresponding island have not yet been revealed for several reasons – before revealing these details, the series must first be wrapped.
Learning From Mistakes – This gets better in Season 2
Part of the organization’s team, Max and Johannes, who were also heavily involved in designing the first season, are also part of the party this time around and were there for a site visit. There was also a new survival expert who ranked the locations according to fairness and requirements.
According to Meinecke in the announcement video, one learned from the mistakes of the first season, and therefore, among other things, chose more than seven locations in order to be able to better interact with spontaneous events. Additionally, the organizational team has grown, so now Wandermut is also involved. This is a company that organizes and offers excursions and excursions to remote places under harsh conditions.
Of course, the face of the show, Fritz Minieke himself, will also be present as a participant. In order to prepare all candidates for the special circumstances, there will be a briefing from the above-mentioned survival expert before the start, which is better to listen carefully.
In order to prepare for potential dangers, the rescue team has also been expanded and supplemented by an emergency doctor so that he can provide the best assistance as quickly as possible in case of emergency. An officer of the German Armed Forces, who also takes part in the organizing team and will prepare for possible evacuation procedures, will also contribute to this.
More effort, more staff, more project. Season 7 vs Season 2 should set a real milestone in YouTube content production in Germany, you can see right away. Mineke explains that 15 people have been working on perception since the beginning of the year.
More details about the process
Like Season 1, Season 2 of 7 against Wild will be filmed between August and September. Broadcasting will then follow, just like Season 1, in November and December. Apparently, there isn’t much to improve in terms of casting and playback of episodes.
However, we don’t have any details on the total number of new episodes and releases per week. There will certainly be new insights later. Another great feature of Season 2 is that a participant will be selected from viewers using a wildcard.
The application process, guidelines, and all the other important factors that will be critical to this will be presented tomorrow, Tuesday, June 14, at Fritz Miniki – YouTube Live Channel to publish. More information regarding the participants will be available the next day, on Wednesday. Until then, watch the full Season 7 vs. Season 2 trailer video below:
