Today, it is the technical sheet of the smartphone that is revealed on the web. The document confirms that the Pro 7 will be declined in two variants. One will ship the Helio P25 SoC processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. However, the second version seems to be the most promising.
Meizu Pro 7: MediaTek Helio X30 processor, back-up LCD and fast charge
The second variant of the Meizu Pro 7 will be the first smartphone to embed a 10-core Helio X30 processor. This information was officially confirmed by MediaTek at the beginning of the week. The deca-core processor will be paired with 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage space.
According to this datasheet, the main screen will have a size of 5.2 inches, and the secondary screen on the back of the Meizu Pro 7 will be 1.9 inches. This second screen will allow to take selfies with the back camera, or to play simplistic video games like Pac-Man. The rear camera will be a module consisting of two 12 MP sensors, while the front camera will be 16 MP.
The smartphone will be compatible with the fast charging technology mCharge, and will run on Android Nougat 7.0 covered by the Flyme Overlay 6 from Meizu. Remember that this document is not official, and it is therefore possible that the true technical characteristics of Meizu Pro 7 differ. However, this data sheet seems quite credible and is consistent with previous information leaks.
The flagship smartphone is unlikely to be available outside China, at least at first.
