Today I would like to present to you the novel “Felicitas – The First Seven Lives of Puma” by Paula Grimm.

In July 2012, journalist and author Tamara Sanft bought a house in Tannhuisen on the Lower Rhine. There she found Felicitas Heichmann’s diary from 1990. When Tamara picked up the notebook, she could feel the magical attraction that emanated from this volume before she had even read a word. As she holds the book in her hand, intrigued, Felicitas and her powerful animal, a female cougar, seem to warn Tamara not to want to have this story. Ignore these signs. The two newspaper articles she found in the notebook encourage her to copy this story and publish it as her own novel.

Through Felicita’s notes and through the intertwining of events from the past with her life, Tamara Sanft actually gets a very exciting story that reveals secrets from the years 1977 to 1990. But she can’t master this story and Felicitas Heichmann as she planned it. She also has to realize that her husband, Sigmund Sanft, has more than one dark secret.
