Finally, we breaded the mandrake and, after a few more steps, finished our mandrake persimmons with giant bat tempura.

Only Valen’s brother Laius, the leader of the group, remains, as well as the locksmith Chilchuk and the sorcerer and dwarf Marcel. Together, they plan another expedition into the dungeon to save Valen from being digested by the dragon’s body.

But the mini-“party” is short of cash and is very hungry. How are they supposed to make their way through the dungeon to Fallen again without judgment? Laios comes up with the idea of ​​hunting his own food in the dungeon and eating whatever comes before his weapons. Fortunately, the dwarf Senshi joins them in their first attempt at making a meal. He had been in the dungeon for a long time spanning several levels and floors. Since Shinichi once wanted to kill and eat a dragon, he accompanies the group. Laios also has to secretly admit that he himself has long wanted to know how monsters taste and how they can be properly prepared.

Individual chapters show the adventurers on their journey to a new area or in conflict with new monsters and introduce readers to a new dish that the adventurers create from their environment. Meal preparation and the biology of the monster in question are also explained and the importance of a balanced diet – especially during adventures – is discussed in the dungeon. Delicious in Dungeon is a cute slice of life manga that is easy to read in the best sense of the word. The book is not heavy on the stomach, but refreshes the body and soul and leaves the reader with a good feeling.
