XDefiant will launch on October 28, claims the leaker

Reputable Call of Duty leaker claimed @TheMW2Ghost XDefiant has a release date of October 28th.

According to the leaker, there is a clear launch event on October 28, which led him to believe the game’s release date.

While Insider Gaming cannot independently verify XDefiant’s release date, we have also obtained information suggesting that Ubisoft San Francisco, the developers of XDefiant, already have a launch event on October 28, but details of what the event entails have yet to be determined. Check with us.

If October 28 is accurate, that means the game will kick off on Saturday. Or perhaps the game will be released on Friday, October 27, 2023, with Ubisoft celebrating the launch event a day later.

Last week, it was reported that XDefiant will be released on October 17 by a reputable Call of Duty leaker. el_bobberto on Twitter, but it’s unclear why or if that release date has been pushed back. It’s possible that Ubisoft chose to delay the release, once they realized that the release would be in direct conflict with the start of Call of Duty’s “The Haunting” event.

Last month, Ubisoft reported that XDefiant did not pass on its requests to Sony and Xbox, and thus the game was delayed.

“We are currently in the CM preparatory portion of this process and hope to submit it to first parties in just under two weeks. If that goes well, we can look forward to a mid-to-end September release. However, there is a possible scenario where we get Conditional clearance which means we have to do a day one patch with some final fixes to ensure compliance. “If we need to do a day one patch, it pushes our date back to early/mid October,” studio head Mark Rubin said.
