Steam Deck: A Few Steps Required to Use Xbox Cloud Gaming
Microsoft is currently working on a special version of its web browser Edge, which is supposed to run on the mobile device. If you go to Microsoft Edge (Beta) on Steam Deck, you can access and use the Xbox Cloud Gaming beta. However, for now, you still have to click File Go back to the command line and take a few steps, before you can use Microsoft Game Streaming on your Steam handheld device. With Xbox Cloud Gaming, games like Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and many more from Microsoft, Bethesda, and EA can be streamed to the end device via an internet connection.
However, it will take some time before Xbox Cloud Gaming is available in a definitive version on Steam Deck. However, this may be the first step towards further collaboration between Valve and Microsoft. In a recent interview with PC Gamer, Valve CEO Gabe Newell said he would be “more than happy” to help Microsoft bring PC Game Pass to Steam as a subscription so that Steam Deck users, for example, can also access it. It’s entirely up to customers, if there’s an interest here, Microsoft and Valve will band together to bring Microsoft’s gaming subscription to Steam. However, Valve is still not interested in its game subscription service.
