Non-members can sign in directly in the Take a subscription in the app or play games like Fortnite for free.
Through this collaboration, Amazon wants to offer its customers more entertainment options and create an easy entry point into cloud gaming. Xbox continues its efforts to make cloud gaming available on more devices and to more people around the world.
It remains to be seen how the offering will work in practice and whether the Fire TV Sticks’ performance is enough for a smooth gaming experience. However, the availability of cloud gaming on additional platforms could help make the technology, which has not yet taken off well, especially in Germany, accessible to a wider audience and reduce reliance on dedicated gaming devices.
