Viewsonic has announced two new portable projectors: the M1X and M1S. Both models feature 480p resolution and 360 nits of brightness, but there are some key differences.

The Viewsonic M1X differs from the M1S in that it supports Bluetooth for audio and can monitor the screen via Wi-Fi. Both devices weigh around 800 grams and come with a 3-in-1 smart stand that allows for 360-degree viewing.
Built-in 3W Harman Kardon speakers deliver high-quality sound. Connectivity is available via USB-C, USB-A 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Viewsonic M1X and Viewsonic M1S are equipped with a 1200mAh battery, support keystone correction and use Cinema SuperColor+ technology to improve image quality. They cover 125% of the Rec.709 color gamut, have a contrast ratio of 120,000:1, a throw distance of 0.64 to 2.66 meters, and a maximum size of 100 inches.
Projectors can be used with game consoles and for mobile phone display.
Pricing and release dates for the M1X and M1S have yet to be announced, but the M1X is expected to cost more.
