F1 22 | 16 miles with Charles Leclerc:
The best physics and adaptive AI
F1 22 brings important technological innovations, including modified physics, handling and tire models that accurately reflect real-world changes in the sport. The game introduces Adaptive AI, a setting that adjusts the difficulty of AI competitors by adjusting their speed and competitiveness, allowing new players to find their way and seasoned racers to push to their limits. VR is also making its debut on PC, providing the most realistic F1 track experience yet. Now fans can experience the adrenaline rush from the cockpit in single player or with their friends in multiplayer.
Lee MotherF1 Senior Creative Director at Codemasters:
“F1 22 offers a great balance of racing enthusiasts of all levels, deepening the authenticity of the Formula 1 experience with challenging, realistic and adrenaline-pumping racing moments. We have overhauled physics, handling and presentation like never before, introducing a range of innovative lifestyle options for upcoming arrivals.” We look forward to offering fans a gateway to the world of Formula 1 and getting closer to the sport than ever before.”
New features:
More feeling of racing
The game increases the authenticity of the racing action by offering interactive and cinematic features such as immersive broadcast options for stops, formation laps, and safe car intervals. F1 22 also features sound changes, including the addition and expansion of commentary teams in multiple regions, dynamic soundscapes and – for the first time in series history – a licensed soundtrack featuring a world-class team of electronic and dance artists.
The game introduces F1 Life, a new customizable social hub that gives players a peek at an F1 driver off the track. In this personal space, which serves as a multiplayer lobby, fans can view their collection of supercars, outfits, accessories, and trophies earned by completing in-game challenges, leveling up in the Podium Pass, Brand Store, and earned in-game store. The eight supercars bring new gameplay challenges like drifts and duels, and can be driven around the track in the Pirelli Hot Lap feature, which recreates the first part of the race in the weekend.
Other features:
Along with all the in-game innovations, F1 22 is expanding its features with the return of My Team, now with three starting points, a 10-year career with two-player functionality, and offline split-screen multiplayer.
