Ubisoft announced a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time about four years ago and planned to release it on January 21, 2021. It was even a PS4 announcement. But the game did not come. Now there is a sign of life.
Prince of Persia: Remake won't come until 2026
It seems that a rumor from the beginning of the year is true; It is likely that the project has been fully resumed. There was a teaser for the remake as part of Ubisoft Forward, but with bad news at the end: the game isn't coming until 2026.
Ubisoft didn't want to show it yet, and we only saw an animated candle at the event. There's also talk that the style has been completely revised and that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time now looks different.
But this should be an issue for 2025, because I don't think Ubisoft will release the game this year. I think they'll be delayed by a year now and we won't see the remake until the Summer of Games 2025.
By the way, this was the old and first show of 2020:
“Unapologetic analyst. Infuriatingly humble coffee evangelist. Gamer. Unable to type with boxing gloves on. Student. Entrepreneur.”
