Travis Scott seen being dragged out of Paris hotel after arrest on video

New video footage has emerged showing Travis Scott – whose real name is Jack Webster – is dragged out of the lobby of a five-star hotel in Paris in handcuffs by police early Friday morning before being placed in the back of a police car.

The 33-year-old man was wearing a yellow hoodie, black sweatpants and sneakers as two police officers held his arms at either side.

One officer was seen talking to Scott, while another officer restrained him.

Four Seasons George V staff tried unsuccessfully to block the cameras' view, with police eventually succeeding in getting the rapper to stop resisting and head outside.

Scott walked out the hotel doors with his head bowed as three officers put him in the back of a police car.

The “Butterfly Effect” artist kept looking down as he appeared to briefly answer the policeman's questions.

As Page Six reported Friday morning, Scott got into an altercation with his security guard when a local photographer managed to get into the trunk of his car.

“They were shouting at each other, which caused the hotel to panic and call the police,” a source familiar with the incident said.

Scott – who is in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, which he attended on Thursday – was arrested just after 5 a.m. local time.

“We are in direct contact with local Parisian authorities to resolve this matter quickly and will provide updates when appropriate,” a Scott representative told The Washington Post.

Page Six sources say Scott will be released Friday afternoon Paris time.

The Paris Public Prosecutor's Office participated in NBC statement“I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V Hotel and arrested rapper Travis Scott on charges of assaulting a security guard.”

The statement continued: “The security guard intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard, and the Paris Public Prosecution referred the case to the first district of the judicial police.”

The 10-time Grammy nominee was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida on June 20. for unregulated poisoning.

Although the charge was later dropped, Scott still faces a trespassing charge, according to reports.

Scott's attorney, Bradford Cohen, told Page Six at the time: “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding. There was absolutely no physical altercation, and we thank authorities for working with us to reach a quick and amicable resolution.”
