(Excerpt from press release)
Dusseldorf, December 20, 2023 – From January 9-12, 2024, the world of technology will once again gather in Las Vegas to present product innovations and insights that will find their way into everyday life in the months and years ahead. TP-Link will of course also be on site and will present many innovations in the areas of Wi-Fi 7, Mesh, Smart Home and Home Security.
Wi-Fi 7: The WLAN revolution in the starting blocks
At CES 2023 in January of this year, TP-Link introduced its first Wi-Fi 7 routers, including the Archer BE900, BE800, and BE550, which theoretically make data transfer rates of up to 24 Gbit/s possible. By spring 2024, the final regulatory hurdles should be cleared and the 6GHz band will be usable in addition to the 2.4 and 5GHz bands in order to actually achieve these and even higher speeds.
At CES 2024, TP-Link is thus showcasing several expansions of its WiFi 7 portfolio – in particular, the mesh-capable Deco series gets a new addition compatible with the new WiFi standard: the new models Deco BE63 and Deco BE65 – both benefit from 5G networks and the Deco BE65 -PoE and Deco BE25-Outdoor increase speeds through Wi-Fi 7 and, with their versatility, provide the perfect solution for every scenario. Users can choose between fibre-optic, cable Internet, 4G/5G or DSL solutions and can use fast wired Ethernet, Powerline (PLC) and Power over Ethernet (PoE) to connect peripherals as well as a comprehensive and stable WLAN. TP-Link's mesh solutions for outdoor use – such as the new Deco BE25-Outdoor with Wi-Fi 7 – also ensure optimal Wi-Fi coverage in the garden or by the pool, making Deco the first choice even for larger homes and plots. .
In Las Vegas, TP-Link is also showing the Archer TBE550E, its first tri-band Wi-Fi 7 network adapter, with which computers can easily be equipped for the fast new WLAN standard.
In addition, the Wi-Fi 7 routers introduced at the beginning of 2023 – from the Archer BE900 and BE800 to the BE550 and BE230 and even the GE800 gaming router – will also be on display at booth number 51939 at the so-called Venetian Expo in the hotel. Same name on the famous “Strip” back in Las Vegas.
Tabo: An integrated smart home ecosystem
In addition to Wi-Fi 7, smart home and home security are big topics for the coming year — and areas that TP-Link has been successfully and innovatively addressing for a long time with its Tapo smart home brand. At CES 2024, the brand is showcasing the entire range: from the Tapo HomeBase H500 as a central smart home controller, to the impressive new C428 and C620 security cameras with ColorProTM night vision technology, to smart doorbell systems that allow users to monitor their security. Not only your home or property, but it also allows you to easily receive visitors and suppliers remotely.
For order and cleanliness within your four walls, Las Vegas-based TP-Link is showcasing its existing RV30 Plus and RV20 Plus intelligent electric LiDAR robots with their optional docking stations for autonomous charging and discharging.
This comprehensive product range is rounded out by the new Matter compatible plugs and dimmer kits P125M, P400M and P135 as well as several other Wi-Fi enabled smart plugs such as the P110 and smart sensors such as the T100, T110 and T110. T315 and of course different lighting solutions.
