The Murgtalgemeinden score departments have been mixed in Google reviews.

There, citizens can rate the work of municipalities with stars and write comments.

In the Morgue Valley, the worst rating is 3.7 out of a possible five stars. In contrast, two municipalities share the first place. Overview with feedback from communities.

1st place: Loffenau and Weisenbach (5.0)

The municipalities of Loffenau and Weisenbach have the highest scores on Google – five out of five stars. Lovinau has only received four ratings so far. In the only Google comment, one user wrote: “Still the best in my experience. Nice, efficient and takes his time.” “Good reviews are always nice,” says Mayor of Lovinau Marcus Berger (independent).

But he adds: “I don’t consider Google’s rankings to be representative.” In addition, its importance in the local government is rather low, and the public administration is not a restaurant or shop where you can look at the reviews before visiting.

Weisenbach Mayor Daniel Rich (CDU) is of the same opinion. Nevertheless, he is pleased with the two very good reviews of his management. However, users did not leave any comments. That’s why Rich emphasizes: “We’re always always open to criticism.”

Second place: Gernsbach (4.3)

4.3 out of five stars – The Google rating for the management of the city of Gernsbach is also impressive. Users write, for example, “Very polite”, “Friendly and competent as always” or “Stand by words and deeds”.

On the other hand, other reviews indicate a mixed mood towards Town Hall: “Friendly staff. Unfortunately, you have to spend some time with you” or “very friendly, not 100 percent on topic”.

On the other hand, another review reads worse than the three star rating out of five suggests. With the comment, “Despite the appointment, waiting times. The employees of the Citizen’s Office could be more friendly with the citizens, ”a user of the Citizen’s Office criticized. But not all the reviews are directed directly to the city administration. For example: “Nice park for children.”

We are happy to accept constructive suggestions from citizens.

Nicoletta Arand, press spokeswoman for the city of Gernsbach

The Gernsbach administration received a total of 22 evaluations, eleven of which contain text. “We are certainly pleased with the good reviews and happy to accept constructive suggestions from citizens,” says Nicoletta Arand, press spokeswoman for the city of Gernsbach.

Third place: Forbach (4.0)

Feuerbach four out of five stars. “There are four classifications that are certainly not representative,” says Thomas Hudczyk, deputy head of Feuerbach’s office. In addition, there are two comments that are not directly related to the work of the management – for example “Dreamy little place in Morg!”.

The same is the case with the negative review “One hour ride for free, opening times don’t match the homepage and Google,” Hudeczek says. The user addresses a communication issue related to business hours.

“This, of course, should not happen,” Hudczyk stresses. “But in the last year in particular, there have of course also been out-of-sequence restrictions due to the pandemic, which may not be available across all channels at the same time.”

Fourth place: Gaggenau (3.7)

Gaggenau comes last with a score of 3.7 out of 5 stars. With 19 ratings from Google, the city administration has received almost as many ratings as Gernsbach and much more than other municipalities.

Some users write words of praise such as “nice staff, you feel in good hands” or “the lady at the front desk was very friendly”. Two comments do not refer to the Gaggenau administration at all, but the town hall vaccination campaigns.

Many just want to get rid of the force.

Judith Fuerer, Jaggenau City Press Spokesperson

On the other hand, other users express their criticism: “The building authority is missing its work in all areas!” or ‘Long wait time’ or ‘Thank you so much for your courageous act. Please let the immigration office work on your own tone of voice’.

Judith Fuerer, press spokeswoman for the city of Gagenau confirms: “It is natural to note that people give Google ratings primarily when they are dissatisfied. A lot of people just want to get off the power.” As a rule, this can also be observed elsewhere.

So it is said in the “public utilities disaster” review. In addition, the user requests the dismissal of the employees he calls. It’s understandable, says Fuerer, when public figures are under attack.

“However, if there are individual employees by name, from our point of view the threshold we are also trying to counter is crossed.”

However, she notes, management generally takes Google’s rankings very seriously. Fuerer said that in addition to a lot of praise, there are also negative comments to which we would like to respond constructively.
