There is no competition for Nvidia and AMD (yet).

The Arc A770 is the world’s first and most powerful gaming graphics card Intel Commercially available to compete with Nvidia and AMD. Our colleague reveals why that hasn’t quite happened, at least not yet Zenchilli Hardware Reviewswho reviewed the card in ASRock’s Phantom Gaming OC edition from the player’s perspective. The Intel Arc A770 is equipped with 32 so-called Xe cores and 4096 shaders (FP32-ALUs). 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory operates at a frequency of 2000 MHz and is connected to a 256-bit interface. The manufacturer limits the power consumption of the graphics card to a maximum of 225 watts. When installing, it should be noted that the card occupies three slots. There are three DisplayPorts and one HDMI as connections.

In gaming testing, it turns out that the performance of the Arc A770 is on par with the Nvidia RTX 3060 (or slightly lower). While DirectX 12 titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can be played just fine in Full HD, DirectX 11 (such as Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite) frequently causes noticeable frame rate drops. To get the best possible performance it is necessary to have the correct settings in BIOS and below Windows 10/11 It is highly recommended to have a look at the manual.
