Amazon thrived to become the largest and indispensable online retailer of all products, which in turn led to problems in the end. More and more providers have taken advantage of the system to be able to present themselves more and more successfully on Amazon. Amazon has now responded and removed a large number of Chinese brands from its own pages. We have already reported several times about individual cases.
But why did Amazon remove well-known brands like Aukey, Mpow, RavPower and Choetech? These and many other brands have been traded illegally. For example, they entice people with coupons so that users can write positive reviews. This is of course forbidden. The company confirmed that Amazon has now permanently banned more than 600 Chinese brands on 3,000 different seller accounts the edge.
Coupons and other solicitations: Comments should be deceived
Banned brands have intentionally, repeatedly and in some cases severely violated Amazon’s guidelines. It was almost always about getting positive reviews. Often with small gift cards in product packaging, so in theory Amazon wouldn’t even notice without further ado. But reports from users who received such offers began to surface on Twitter and other platforms.
After the story of my fake review, the RAVPower brand listings from Amazon Electronics vanished.

Meanwhile, some retailers and brands have also tried to email us to advertise their own online stores. You lost a huge platform with Amazon, but you also deliberately compromised it over a long period of time. For some of these brands, which have offered cheap smartphone accessories, for example, being fired from Amazon will likely mean massive discounts.
The steps taken are more than understandable. Even if the selection is of course a little smaller. Other service providers will surely seize their opportunity.
