A French gamer has ordered a gaming PC. But when the computer gets to his house, he can’t believe his eyes.
One user reported that he ordered a new gaming PC for around €1,000. Then he posted a series of different photos on Twitter. Here you can see: PC is in catastrophic condition. We’ve included a Twitter post here for you. The text is in French, but the pictures say more than a thousand words:
He himself writes very stunned (Heb twitter.com):
Thanks to the delivery man who made his breach of the case. I just hope to get a positive response from the LDLC.

He himself stated that he had contacted the seller and hoped for a refund. Because with a computer he won’t be able to play or work anytime soon.
Does that happen often? Such cases happen again and again that the devices were either not packaged properly or the shipping service provider was not careful. For example, a player received a package that looked like it had been run over by a truck. Then it’s a great disappointment if you can’t start playing right away.
Damaged parcels should not be accepted
What do I do if I get such a computer? If your package arrives in the mail in terrible condition, under no circumstances should you accept the package. You can easily refuse to accept and many sellers also indicate this in their terms and conditions. In this case, the shipping company is responsible for the damage.
However, our French player had another problem here. Because the damage was not visible out of the box. So he wrote himself on Twitter: “If it’s in a box, you can explain to me how it works” and shows a photo of the packed box on Twitter:
Normally you will not be liable for such damage unless you use the computer as a trampoline yourself. The service provider is responsible for this damage. Even if your computer has been damaged and it still appears to be working, you should be careful. Because you do not see the extent of damage to the internal components.
consumer advocates We advise, by the way, to unpack the package in the presence of the sender, if it really looks critical. By signing, the recipient not only confirms receipt, but also confirms that the parcel has arrived correctly and in good condition.
This is particularly difficult in times when parcel service providers increasingly rely on parking permits and therefore do not require a signature for delivery. In the most annoying case, they just throw the package in front of the front door and then the annoyance is even greater.
