The Umbrella Academy season 4 release date

The Umbrella Academy season 4 will be released on August 8.

The umbrellas (and one bird) are back in the first teaser for the movie Umbrella AcademyThe fourth and final season.

Set to a remix of “The Final Countdown,” the trailer showcases the series' “final timeline” after three seasons of time-traveling to save the universe.

Umbrella Academy Season 4 will pick up after the climatic confrontation at the Oblivion Hotel which reset their timeline and left the original crew stripped of their various powers.

The result leaves the fan-favorite siblings “fending for themselves and finding a new normal with varying degrees of success,” as the show's description states. “However, the trappings of their strange new world are difficult to ignore for very long. Their father Reginald, alive and well, has emerged from the shadows into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and nefarious business empire.

At the same time, “a mysterious society known as The Keepers holds secret meetings, believing that the reality they live in is a lie and that a great reckoning is coming.”

So the final season will leave the group with a final test: will they be able to set things right once and for all?

Umbrella Academy, based on the Dark Horse comic book series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Baa, stars Elliot Page, Tom Hooper, David Castaneda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, and Aidan Gallagher as the original group of six siblings. Justin H. Maine, Ritu Arya, Colm Feore, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross complete the main cast of season four.

The final season will be released on Netflix on August 8, 2024.
