In “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” you can control Zelda yourself for the first time, and the adventure takes completely different forms.
The latest Nintendo Direct has come to an end and one of the highlights was undoubtedly a new Zelda adventure. “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” will be a 2D top-down game, similar to the classic games “A Link to the Past” and “Link's Awakening.” However, for the first time, you control not the famous hero Link, but the princess herself, and after Link disappears in a mysterious crack in the trailer, this time Zelda must go on a rescue mission.
Zelda without Link, but with magic!
The trailer shows off all kinds of fun innovations. Instead of classically going out with a sword, shield, or bow, Zelda seems to rely largely on her magical abilities. Her magic staff allows her to create what are called “echoes”. The princess can create a copy of almost any object in the game, including tables, beds, blocks of wood, or water. During combat, you can also summon copies of defeated enemies who will fight on your behalf.
When will The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom be released?
The biggest surprise in the trailer is the release date: “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” will be released on September 26. There will also be a Zelda-themed Switch Lite to match the game. Neither are currently available for pre-order, but we'll keep you posted!
