Riot Games will be holding an international VALORANT tournament, Masters Shanghai, starting today, May 23.
This tournament is an international tournament in which the best 12 teams from around the world will gather in the Chinese city of Shanghai from May 23 to June 9 to compete for the Masters Championship title. The tournament will be held at the VCT CN Studio, while the final will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the largest venue in VCT history.

Tournament format
The Shanghai Masters will be held in two stages: the “Swiss stage” and the “play-off stage”.
Not all teams start from the same starting line. A small number of teams winning the first stage of each league will be recognized for their outstanding performance by passing the first stage and participating in the qualifying stage. Meanwhile, the remaining eight teams will have to compete starting from the Swiss stage.
