A few days ago, we delivered a full development video for the “For Science!” update, and today we started distributing the first major content update for “For Science!” As planned. Intercept Games released a game trailer depicting the exploration. For star systems and unlock new technologies.
Includes “For Science!” “Explore” mode, where you can collect science by exploring the entire Kerbolar star system and unlock new technologies, as well as science gathering parts and useful science gathering collection/transmission interfaces. The Development Center, which unlocks new classes in the technology tree, Dr. Kerry Kerman, which brings missions of increasing difficulty, from learning basic rockets to trying to build and experiment with completely new types of vehicles, and the atmosphere. It features elements such as full heat countermeasures required during reentry, reinforced joints to improve the missile’s oscillation, numerous quality of life improvements, and dramatic improvements in performance.
For science, it’s finally here!
Adds For Science! New game modes, scientific progress, the return of heat, and many important improvements.
Kerbal astronauts, we’ve taken off!
The time has finally come – “For Science!” has been released! We are pleased to provide you with this important update.
v0.2.0.0You can check out the full release notes here. We welcome your feedback and bug reports about this update.KSP ForumPlease send from.
Immerse yourself in “For Science” and explore its world. And of course, share with us your rockets, your great achievements and your discoveries.
To celebrate the release of “For Science!”, “Kerbal Space Program 2” is offered at a 20% discount until January 5, 2024 at 3:00 AM (Japanese time).
Update adds “For Science!” An entirely new campaign format, Exploration Mode. This allows you to collect Science Points through quests, experiments, and journeys in the Carbonara system. Experiment and report in unique locations, earn science points in the newly opened R&D center at the Kerbal Space Center (KSC), unlock new cutting technologies, learn about new concepts, and help the Kerbals travel far beyond our parent star. Tackle a massive tech tree to unlock the means of flight across the Karbora family, from your birthplace of Karbin to the furthest reaches of Ehlo to the dark and stagnant region of Eve. With tremendous progress, your efforts will be rewarded with rewards that match your ambitions.
How do you collect science points? With new science experiment parts! Once these parts are mounted on the plane (be careful of their shape and mass, they are important!), you can perform different experiments depending on the mission. Also keep an eye out for new kerbal animations when collecting Science Points during Extravehicular Activities (EVAs)!
In KSP2, we have revised the entire interface for collecting and sending scientific points. During flight, the new Experiment Actions button lets you know when you have the opportunity to take a measurement or take a sample on the spot. Use this button to learn more information about trial opportunities available in your current location. The new Research Inventory provides reliable information about the number of science points you have collected so far and your ability to submit science data. Mission Tracker helps you see your ongoing and completed goals. New flight planning tools have also been added to the Missile Assembly Building (VAB). Altitude and environment readouts provide thrust-to-weight ratio, burn time and delta-V for each stage. The data is kept throughout the journey and updated from time to time.
As you travel, discover many quest sites and mysterious formations scattered throughout the Kapoor System. Enjoy the scenery and collect flag points. What will we find?
Gone are the days of returning to the atmosphere without stress. This is due to the implementation of thermal effects and the behavior of refractory parts during return to the atmosphere.
The quality of life also improved significantly.
- An enhanced joint system has been developed to significantly reduce oscillation in large aircraft.
- The surround sound system has been updated
- We have also implemented a new boat dock with a crane and bridge that can be used for both missions and non-missions. This resulted in a huge improvement in buoyancy!
