“The Juice Is Loose” in the second teaser

On Thursday, Warner Bros. released the trailer for its new film Beetlejuice Beetlejuicea sequel to the 1988 classic that brings back Tim Burton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, and the ghost of Michael Keaton who speaks loudest to most.

The picture is gearing up for a September 6 release with the teaser, after the first images from the film were shown earlier this week.

There's just one line of dialogue in the 1-minute, 16-second cliffhanger, when Keaton's Beetlejuice rises from his model town in the attic to announce to a shocked Lydia (Ryder): “The juice's loose.”

Gina Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, Arthur Conte, and Monica Bellucci are among the newcomers in the sequel.

Plot: Still haunting Lydia's life, Beetlejuice's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid (Ortega), discovers the mysterious model of the city in her attic and the portal to the afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble in both worlds, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his own brand of mayhem.

The script hails from Ortega Wednesday Set by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, from a story by Goff, Millar, and Seth Grahame-Smith, and based on characters created by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson.

The sequel is “physically beautiful,” Keaton said in an interview earlier this month. The other one was fun and very interesting visually, all of that but really beautiful and interestingly emotional here and there. I wasn't prepared for that. It's great. “

Ortega, who appears briefly in the teaser riding her bike over the city's famous wooden covered bridge that featured prominently in the first film, also recently gave hints to the sequel, playing Ryder's daughter Lydia and granddaughter Delia O'Hara, saying some of the story has “a lot of… “It's catching up and putting the pieces together of what's happened in Lydia's life since then, which is nice, I think, for anyone who loves the character and is excited to see her again.”
