The Indian updates the Scouts' lineup for 2025 with more power and technology.

Indian Motorcycle has just unveiled its revised Scout range for 2025, which includes a complete redesign and promises to raise the bar for mid-range motorcycles. This update comes after the success of the platform, with more than 100,000 units sold worldwide.

The new 2025 Scout range retains its popular American style but incorporates an all-new liquid-cooled 1250cc SpeedPlus engine. This drivetrain is combined with a redesigned tubular steel front frame and subframe, forming the basis for five different models.

In this article we will focus on the three main models: Scout Classic, Scout Bobber, and Super Scout. Each of these models is available in three trim levels, providing drivers with a variety of customization options.

Basic equipment includes ABS, LED lighting and an analogue instrument panel with a new fuel level and fuel consumption indicators. The mid-level “Limited” trim level adds more color options, traction control, cruise control and three selectable driving modes. The top “Limited +Tech” model also includes a 4-inch round display with turn-by-turn navigation, configurable instruments, trip statistics, and keyless ignition.

The Scout Classic, formerly known as the Scout, offers a more traditional look with chrome finishes, wide fenders, and wire wheels. The Super Scout, on the other hand, adds luggage racks, a windshield, and passenger footrests, making it suitable for longer trips. The Scout Bobber, on the other hand, offers a simple, dark design, with a lowered body and wider tires.

All versions share the new 12.9-litre tank and 2-in-1 exhaust system, a change from the previous 2-in-2.

With this comprehensive update, Indian aims not only to maintain the popularity of the Scout range, but also to compete more effectively in an increasingly technological and demanding sector.
