PowKiddy once again introduces a new mobile device. The X55 comes with a quad-core CPU and a 5.5-inch IPS panel, among other things. The good piece can now be pre-ordered for $140. The device is only available in blue.
X55 features
X55 is equipped with Rock-Chips RK3566 quad-core CPU. This processor is unknown, as it has already been successfully installed in the Anbernic RG353M. The popular ARM Mali-G52 is also on board as the GPU. 2GB RAM supports LPDDR4X CPU and GPU.
The screen is a 5.5-inch IPS panel with a maximum resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Linux is used as the operating system, as popular gaming platforms can be used with many emulators. These include PSP, N64, GBA, NeoGeo, and more. Games can be stored on a memory card of up to 256 GB.
Among other things with an HDMI port
This mobile phone is interesting because an HDMI port is integrated. So you can also gamble on screen or TV if needed. The PowKiddy X55 charges via a USB-C connection. It takes 2 hours to fully charge the 4000 mAh battery. Up to 4 hours of fun can follow.
Other than that, Bluetooth and WLAN are also supported. Unfortunately, the case is only made of ABS plastic, not metal. The dimensions are given as 21.25 x 9.45 x 1.9 cm and the weight is 293 grams.
When does the X55 come out?
You can hit so far Only at MechDIY US dealer. You can pre-order the device for $139.99. It is not yet certain when and if the device will arrive in Europe. Order from the United States will add customs and freight.
