Google Wallet, Google’s comprehensive mobile payment service for Android, has finally started offering pass-sharing functionality.
The pass sharing feature in the Android version of the Google Wallet app allows you to share the cards, point cards, etc. registered in the Android version of the Google Wallet app via SNS, Email, Nearby Sharing, etc. using a URL link. In fact, it was announced in the “Google System Update” in late July 2023 that it would be implemented in the Android version of the “Google Play Services” application v23.30 or later, but it ended up being implemented three months later. It will be implemented in late October 2023.

By the way, if you share a pass using the Android version of the Google Wallet app, it seems the recipient will also be able to do a secondary sharing. Be very careful not to share tracks that shouldn’t be shared.
