The 2024 RodeoHouston concert lineup has been announced

It's almost time for Houstonians to strap on their cowboy boots and Stetsons and head to NRG Stadium, and we're not far from finding out who will bring their musical talents to the famous star-shaped stage.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs from February 27 to March 17 this year. Beyond bull riding and lamb slaughter, the rodeo offers 20 days of live music. Here is the full lineup:

  • Wednesday, March 6 Country: Jelly Roll

  • Friday, March 8, EDM: Major Lazer
  • Saturday, March 9 Country: Lenny Wilson
  • Sunday, March 10, Norteño: Los Tigres del Norte
  • Monday, March 11, Country Rock: Whiskey Myers

Many of these artists have seen the rodeo scene before, including Shelton, Paisley, Bun B and the Jonas Brothers. This will be the first time that Anthony, Jelly Roll and rapper 50 Cent will perform at the Houston Rodeo, although the latter's Houston team 50 Cent was a huge fan of the Uncorked Rodeo! Champion Wine Auction in 2021.

The Houston Rodeo has included performers as part of the festivities since 1942, starting with “The Singing Cowboy” Gene Autry. Since then, music legends like Selena, Beyoncé, Dolly Parton, George Strait, Elvis Presley, Charlie Pride, Reba McEntire, Bun B, Willie Nelson and more have performed.

On weekdays, the gates to NRG Stadium open at 6 p.m., the rodeo action begins at 6:45 p.m. and the night's entertainer takes the stage at approximately 9 p.m. On weekends, the NRG Stadium gates open at 2 p.m., the rodeo action begins at 2:45 p.m. and the entertainer takes the stage around 5 p.m.

Rodeo organizers previously announced the genre calendar, which includes one night each of Christian, hip-hop, Latin, EDM, Norteño, rap, rock and pop acts, as well as 11 country acts and one country rock artist or group.

Tickets for each show will go on sale on January 18 in two batches. Wave 1 tickets for shows from February 27 to March 7 will go on sale at 10am with the AXS waiting room opening at 9:30am. Wave 2 tickets for shows March 8-17 will go on sale at 2pm with the AXS waiting room opening at 9:30am. 1:30 PM More information about tickets They can be found on the RodeoHouston website.
