The 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins. Here’s how to watch

Now that Thanksgiving is here, it’s time for one of the largest festive parades in the United States: the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. So, while you’re waiting for your Black Friday shopping to start, you can relax and enjoy the deal.

This is my favorite part of Thanksgiving. I always look forward to seeing the floats, balloons and displays every year. This year’s broadcast includes a few small tweaks to the typical Thanksgiving agenda. Expect an earlier start time (see below), and some extra camera angles, but other than that, the show will operate the same way it has for years. It will include classic performances, such as live performances by famous artists, floats, bands, and Broadway shows.

If you’re a fan like me, or if you’re just looking to pass the time while you cook Thanksgiving dinner, you’re in luck, as it will be very easy to stream the show. Regardless of whether you plan to watch the festivities live in New York City or from the comfort (and warmth) of your own home, here’s everything you need to know.
