Frankfurt (abz.). Nowadays, in many areas automation is used to thoroughly clean floors – especially since stand-alone scrubber dryers work largely independently and save time.
They also find their way into big bakeries. Once programmed, it also cleans large areas during working hours in high frequency areas thanks to sensor and robot technology. Standalone floor cleaning machines meet stringent safety standards, such as Nilfisk’s Liberty SC50 and Liberty SC60.
Disinfection with light or chemicals
With different brushes, pads and suction flanges, the machines can be individually adapted to the needs on site for cleaning different surfaces. For disinfection, the manufacturer offers disinfection units, which are flexible accessories. There are those who work with chemical solutions, and others who rely on the effects of ultraviolet rays.
The former applies chemicals to the ground. A permanently attached squeegee dispenses the solution across the board. On the other hand, disinfection units that inactivate viruses and bacteria using UV light require no chemicals. It is also practical that floor cleaning machines have automatic dosing systems that reduce the consumption of cleaning agent and water.
