The famous food processor, beloved by the general public as well as professional chefs, celebrates its fiftieth anniversary this year. For the occasion, it has been replenished with a new version, always more technologically advanced.

An all-in-one device, Thermomix TM6 acts as a computer for online recipe search, a scale for weighing ingredients as they are being poured, a cutting, stirring and kneading robot and a versatile cooking robot. Steam, vacuum cleaner, slow cooker, frying: all in one!

A little intimidating at first, the device can be easily tamed. Soon we got used to searching online for the recipe of our interest among the 50,000 available, and then following the steps displayed on the touch screen one by one.

No need to heat the measuring cup, it weighs the ingredients you pour into it. He chops and fry vegetables in the same container, to which you can add, for example, rice for cooking. The Thermomix even washes itself, if you add water and dish soap, thanks to the self-cleaning function.

More than saving time and energy, Thermomix TM6 is a new way to tackle the kitchen, fun and practical at the same time!

FoodCycler de Vitamix

Turning your table waste straight into the kitchen, quickly and without the inconvenience of composting smells, is the catch. That’s what Vitamix’s FoodCycler does, which turns food waste into dry matter that can be used as fertilizer.

Being a little bulky, but aesthetic, it is easy to get along with the table-mounted device, which makes a pleasant and reassuring sound when operating. Within three hours, the residue is crushed and dried to be ready for use. What a satisfaction to divert your waste effectively!

The only problem is the small capacity of the device, about 2 cups at a time, as a result of a tablespoon, which makes it impossible to process everything and we still have to put the brown trash in the city.

Supportive testing, the material produced thanks to FoodCycler keeps good for several months and can be easily incorporated as a vegetable garden modification, when it’s time to garden. The plants seem to love it!
