Taylor Swift thanks Tokyo fans for 'amazing' Tour of the Ages performances

Taylor Swift is grateful for her time in Tokyo!


The 34-year-old pop singer spoke about the “wonderful” time she had in Tokyo, Japan, while thanking fans in a new way. mail late Saturday after playing her final show of four of her Eras Tour in D.C. that night.


“Tokyo!!! “Those four shows at the Tokyo Dome were so amazing,” Swift wrote in the caption. “I missed you all so much and loved being on stage dancing with my fellow artists and the band again.”


Along with her message, the “Karma” singer posted photos from her time on stage in Japan, showing her performing in several different looks at the Tokyo Dome.


She concluded by saying: “Thank you to everyone who lives in and around Tokyo, and to everyone who traveled far to be with us there.”


The new post came shortly after Gracie Hunt — who is the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt — confirmed to PEOPLE on Saturday that Swift will attend the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday. The singer was expected to attend to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Swift thanked her fans for her “amazing” performances in Tokyo in a post on Saturday.

On Saturday, Gracie spoke to PEOPLE at the Super Bowl Party red carpet in Las Vegas, confirming that the pop star will be watching the big game in person this weekend.

“She's coming! She's coming! We're excited,” Hunt, 25, said.


Swift saw the Kansas City Chiefs earn their ticket to the Super Bowl while attending the AFC Championship Game on January 28. Her confirmed presence at the Super Bowl comes after she made several appearances to support Kelsey, 34, as recently as months ago.


Swift will next attend the Super Bowl to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Before the big game, Swift played her first show on the Tokyo leg of her Eras Tour on Wednesday and her final show in D.C. on Saturday. Like all Eras Tour concerts previously, sections of the show are dedicated to each Swift album with a few surprise songs added to the mix over the course of the four nights.


In a video recorded by a fan from one of her shows that was shared on X (formerly Twitter)Swift said she was “happy to be back” in Tokyo after not touring the capital “in more than 4 years.”




The “Anti-Hero” singer also revealed details about her upcoming 11th studio album Section of tortured poetsWhich she announced at the Grammy Awards last week.


“I've been working on Tortured poets Since I handed over my rights midnightSwift said, as previously reported. “I've been working on it for about two years, and I kept working on it throughout the U.S. tour and when it was perfect — in my opinion when it was good enough for you — I finished it and I'm so excited that soon you're going to hear it.”
