TAKE LEGO Icons 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender 90 out into the wild – Brick fanatics – LEGO News, Reviews & Building

The 10317 Landrover Classic Defender 90 is built to conquer rough terrain, so we took a LEGO Icons ride into the wilderness to capture off-road images.

For our review of the 10317 Landrover Classic Defender 90, we chose to go wild on all types of terrain to showcase the iconic vehicle in its natural habitat. In addition to the four images we featured in our in-depth review, it would be a pity not to share several more to see how well this LEGO Icons model fits into any terrain.

Between the Sleek and Expedition modes and the various customization options, we set out to find a variety of places to properly display the 10317 Landrover Classic Defender 90. rocky terrain

Our first thought of the photoshoot location for the 10317 Landrover Classic Defender 90 was a wooded area with lots of rocks and rough terrain in general to see exactly how the LEGO Icons model worked out. Like Sart After a long day of filming, we found the perfect setting with an abundance of rocks, ivy, and plants.

Experimenting with different angles with a mixture of plants foreground and background resulted in some interesting photos and this was the best test for hanging the group during our photo shoot.

on an expedition

With the sun rising in the sky, a nearby field in a local park was another perfect setting for the 10317 Landrover Classic Defender 90. This time we chose Expedition mode to see how the vivid colors contrasted against the natural sky and looked in the bright light outside of a studio environment.

Of course, lying in the grass with a camera intrigued passers-by, who asked where he got the set and recommended buying the original instead. This may be a little out of our budget but we are happy with the outcome of the photos as the color scheme works well in the sun and is sure to appeal to a lot of people.

The real deal

Courtesy Taylor 4×4 In Chester we can see how the 10317 Landrover classic Defender 90 stacks up against an actual Defender. Unsurprisingly, it’s not quite as big — but otherwise, it’s impressive to see how accurately the shape is captured.

Offset by the LEGO icons placed on the steering wheel, these shots provide an interesting comparison to the vehicle it’s based on, though not quite in the same color. But when we were done filming, we found another Land Rover Classic Defender that Team Taylor had provided us with a 4×4.

Days passed
