Stock futures rose on Tuesday morning after the market began the week to extend its dramatic decline in September.

S&P 500 futures are up 1.42% and Nasdaq 100 futures are up 1.6%. Those tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 379 points, or 1.27%.
