SPEE3D makes its 3D printing technology more accessible in Australia

Australian 3D printing company SPEE3D, which enables metal processing with patented cold spray technology, has announced a partnership with Nupress. As part of the collaboration, Nupress headquarters will provide WarpSPEE3D printers to other companies.

Nupress is the creator of precision machined components and assemblies with over 50 years of experience. Along with SPEE3D, the new subscription service allows Nupress customers to produce parts when they need them, rather than waiting weeks or months. Parts can now be sourced locally, helping manufacturers improve operations and reduce costs – many of which are negatively affected by ongoing problems in the global supply chain. The subscription model offers 1 to 6 slots, each with 25 hours of print time per month for 12 months.

“Democratizing access to SPEE3D’s WarpSPEED printer will help solve real-world problems with broken supply chains, manufacturing challenges and massive delays for some of the world’s most important industries,” said Stephen Camilleri, Co-Founder and CTO of SPEE3D. “Local Australian businesses now have access to our technology thanks to Nupress, enabling smaller production runs, prototyping needs, material developments and other advanced manufacturing capabilities.”

“Nupress has been talking about realizing our customers’ printing visions for decades, and we are excited to partner with SPEE3D to provide a best-in-class metal additive manufacturing solution,” said Craig McWilliam, Nupress CEO. “Along with exceptional technology, SPEE3D shares our “best-in-class” commitment to developing new printing materials that will expand the possibilities in many industries and applications.”
