Sarah Michelle Gellar shares sexy swimsuit photos from Holiday Vacation

Sarah Michelle Gellar is keeping the summer vibes going well into the winter!

On Tuesday, the 46-year-old actress jokingly explained why she flew a little under the radar during the holiday season. She appeared to be enjoying a tropical holiday, as she wore a range of chic swimwear.

“If I left you unread….that's why. Vacation Photo Dump Part 1,” she captioned it Instagram share Featuring a collection of photos documenting her fun in the sun.

She started with a shot of herself wearing an orange tank top swimsuit and a wide-brimmed hat. Another photo captured her looking into the camera with her eyes hidden behind oversized black sunglasses. This time, she wore a 1960s-inspired floral print two-piece suit.

In another picture, Buffy the Vampire Slayer The alum wore a different bikini that featured a ruffled top with a lemon and orange citrus print. She also snapped a photo overlooking the ocean at sunset wearing white denim shorts and a navy blue cutout top with puff sleeves. Gellar wore her hair in an elegant bun and decorated with flower earrings.

The mother of two — she and husband Freddie Prinze Jr., daughter Charlotte, 14, and son Rocky, 11 — also looked into some books during her vacation. Her photo collage included a shot of an iced fruit drink next to a printout of Rebecca Yaros's fantasy novel Fourth ward. Gellar also brought in the Lisa Unger thriller The new couple is at 5p.

It appears that a few friends have joined Gellar on her vacation. It was published on Wednesday “Vacation Dump No. 2” on Instagram, including a photo of her and Rebecca Gayheart-Dane with their arms around each other in swimsuits. Another photo showed her and Prinze, 47, having dinner with another couple.

The carousel also featured a rare family shot of Gellar, Prinze, and their two children near a group of palm trees.

Back in October, Gellar reminisced to PEOPLE about another memorable vacation she once took — although this one was a bit more unusual.

“When I was younger, I lived in a haunted room in a hotel Hotel del Coronado“Years ago, I was able to request that room and stay there,” Gellar revealed, referring to the Coronado Beach, California resort that opened in 1888.

Despite the eerie atmosphere, Gellar's stay turned out to be surprisingly quiet. “Yes. My strange experience is that I slept through the night. I slept really well,” she recalled jokingly.
