Reviewer Jorn Bumblitz rated “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – The Complete Second Season” on Ultra HD Blu-ray and wrote a comprehensive review concluding with the following conclusion:

Season 2 of “Star Trek – Strange New Worlds” once again follows the “Mission of the Week” concept and once again presents ten diverse episodes that couldn’t be more different. Despite using the classic plot from previous TV series and films, the 50-60 minute episodes sometimes go by too quickly. Technically, the three Ultra HD discs are delivered at cinema level again and therefore offer very good picture and sound quality: high-contrast colours, a high level of detail as well as successful set creations and CGI effects are combined with the classic sound However, the adventures of the Enterprise Mostly quiet it still provides very good audio support. The additional material then makes some interesting contributions to the establishment of Season 2, thus reducing the wait time for Season 3 – which, given the suspense shown here, could certainly be a test of the patience of many fans.
