We’ve known for a long time that there are many creative minds in a huge community. Let’s just remember This awesome Shadowlands comic book in short Janine. But now we’ve received details about a reader project that is as exceptional as it is crazy. Preach Gaming’s Mike shares, as is the Goldshire E-RP and a homemade hammer.
Drama time!
The project of our anonymous community member (at his request) started half a year ago (!). On August 29, 2021, Mike from Preach Gaming read in his “Drama Time” video series. The story “Yo, Goldshire!” Speaking of E-RP experiences in Goldshire and a player who berated his relative to the game director for…certain behaviour. Let’s make it short: neither the author nor the main character treated Mike and his community well.
A second story followed in September 2021 Titled “Yo, LFM”, which also ended up in Mike’s hands. When he realizes who the story is coming from, he immediately recalls the Goldshire voyage: “Oh, **** that’s you. You’re the guy who stalked his cousin in Goldshire and ruined his entire experience, right? We still hate you.” Well, in the new story, the author hardly appeared sympathetic.
Hammer time!
Already in this second letter our reader Mike promised good that we will hear from each other. However, the next step will take another month or two to prepare. And that he’ll need the help of Bex (a Preach Gaming employee) to make it happen. Mike wasn’t too keen on the idea.
But this exact next step happened a few days ago (see above). Mike was playing Final Fantasy 14 on broadcast when a big package hit him. In the package: a great looking hammer (called a Mikaelir) that the reader has been working on all these months. Now Mike is positively impressed. Also included is the third story “Yo, need a Legendary” which may play a role in the next episode of “Drama Time”.
We know from a reliable source that three more stories are planned, which should give the big picture a twist and show what entertaining WoW stories can be created if you invest a lot of heart and soul – this criticism goes directly to the authors – the team from World of Warcraft (Buy now ). We are already giving recognition to all the work that has been done on this exceptional project so far, and we are excited for the next chapter. And you, too?
