The Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (2023) is comfortable to wear, fitting securely and firmly on the head without putting too much pressure. Due to the Blackshark V2 Pro's closed design, sound isolation from the outside is very good even without noise cancellation, and as is usual with closed headphones, the ears can only get uncomfortably warm after several hours of use. The Razer gaming headset is also suitable for people who wear glasses, as there is no extra pressure on the temples when wearing it.
As usual with Razer, the Blackshark V2 Pro (2023) is configured using Synapse software. The 10-band equalizer offers individual settings for the gaming headset’s sound reproduction, with a label at the bottom of the equalizer assigning frequencies to sounds important to esports players, such as footsteps, shots, or scanner sounds. In addition to stereo sound, the headset also offers surround sound via THX Spatial Audio, which conjures up a cinematic, immersive atmosphere from the headset in games like Helldivers 2.
In the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (2023) Stereo Mode there are five Equalizer Presets from E-Sports Professional for the games Apex Legends, Call of Duty, CS:GO, Fortnite and Valorant for testing, which are also appreciated after their own wishes. There is also a bass boost and volume normalization function. The microphone has its own settings page with an EQ including several presets. In addition, functions such as microphone volume, audio gate, voice enhancement or noise cancellation can be configured here.
