The Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated Father's Day New unofficial photo of William and the children Taken by Kate.
The beach shot shows the 41-year-old heir to the British throne wearing a navy blue hoodie, olive green pants and a ball cap. With his back to the camera, he hugs their three young children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, all wearing blue T-shirts and shorts — as they stare into the water.
“We love you daddy,” the photo was simply captioned. “happy Father's Day.” The post included two red hearts and was signed “G, C & L.”
The photo was posted a day after Kate, 42, made her first public appearance since revealing she was undergoing treatment for an unspecified type of cancer.
Kate made news in March after a family photo posted for Britain's Mother's Day was found to have been “digitally manipulated,” according to major photo agencies including the Associated Press, AFP and Reuters.

The royal couple also paid tribute to Will's father, King Charles, in another Instagram post along with an old photo from before Prince Harry's appearance. He will kick the ball with his father. The caption reads: “Happy Father's Day, Dad,” and is signed with a “W.”

On Saturday, Kate joined King Charles, William, their three children and other members of the extended royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to celebrate Trooping the Colour, a military parade to commemorate the monarch's official birthday.
For her first public appearance in five months, the princess chose a white Jenny Packham dress with a large black and white ribbon, and tucked her hair under a wide-brimmed Philip Treacy hat. According to Vogue. She wore pearl earrings with a matching brooch, white heeled shoes, and carried a black handbag.
In a personal message on Friday, Kate said she was making good progress with her treatment, although she was “not out of the woods” yet.
“As anyone who has undergone chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak and tired and have to give your body a rest,” Kate wrote in the statement. “But on good days, when you feel strong, you want to make the most of feeling good.”
