The new Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT RDNA 3 cards are now available from MSI, in a Gaming Trio Classic edition. In terms of its design, it is very reminiscent of the Gaming X-Trio 6000 series and is currently listed on a French retailer for 1130 and 1230 euros respectively, but is not currently available.
Hardware manufacturer MSI was also present at CES in Las Vegas and has His custom Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT models were shown there. The graphics cards are marketed under the Gaming Trio Classic brand, which is related to the fact that they use the same cooling shroud and fans as the RX 6000 series cards in the Gaming X Trio series. There should be minor tweaks to the backplane, for example, to do justice to the Navi 31’s design. The cards aren’t factory overclocked, and according to MSI, in the case of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, it has 2,300MHz Turbo Clocks, 500MHz AMD reference cards.
More features and first listings for merchants
The Radeon RX 7900 XTX Gaming Trio Classic and RX 7900 XT come with the same dimensions of 325 x 141 x 56 mm and three 8-pin power connectors. Features of the Gaming Trio Classic cards include the Tri-Frozr 2 cooling design, which consists of Torx 4.0 fans, which also houses the Gaming X Trio Custom models, core tubes, and airflow control. Unlike the RX 6950 XT, the back panel of RDNA 3 Custom Designs doesn’t appear to have an RGB LED strip.
Graphics cards from MSI are already listed at early dealers, for example The Topachat of France. The RX 7900 XTX is offered there for €1,230 and the RX 7900 XT for €1,130, which is €80 more than the list prices of their respective reference models. However, graphics cards are currently either not available or not available. But it won’t be long before German dealers get their hands on Gaming Trio Classic cards.
