On October 26 (US Pacific Daylight Time), Microsoft released optional update software “KB5031455” (Windows 10 version/Windows 11 version) has been published. Windows 11 updates include broader implementation of new features introduced in the September optional update.

This update is distributed as a Cumulative Update Preview which does not include security updates. Since it is treated as an option, it will not be installed unless you click Install in the Windows Update settings.
As mentioned earlier, Windows 11 updates will implement a broader range of new features introduced in the optional September update. Therefore, depending on the user, it may be marked as “published”.
Major updates for Windows 10
- Fixed an issue with the touch screen not working properly in a multi-screen environment.
- Reflects “daylight saving time” changes in Syria
- Addressing a memory leak in the text service (ctfmon.exe)
- Addressed memory leak issue in Windows Input Experience (TextInputHost.exe).

- We highly recommend turning this on for displays that support an 8-bit display (true color/approx. 16.77 million colors) that supports the sRGB color gamut or higher.
