Nvidia Turbo Graphics Card with Gaming Clock Over 3GHz?

Nvidia Turbo Graphics Card with Gaming Clock Over 3GHz?

According to current discussions, Nvidia's upcoming graphics card will offer a base clock speed close to 2.9GHz, which would be a big jump compared to the previous model, the Geforce RTX 4090, which was clocked at 2.23GHz.

Speculations are growing about the technical data of the RTX 5090. The average game clock and maximum turbo clock are supposed to exceed the 3 GHz mark. These assumptions are based on information from a well-known user on the Chiphell forum, who is known for his reliable insider information.

Nvidia is expected to use a “slice” of the GB202 GPU for the RTX 5090, meaning not all of the available compute units will be activated. The card is said to have 28GB of GDDR7 graphics memory, connected to the GPU via a 448-bit memory interface.

Rumors continue to suggest that Nvidia may be planning an RTX 5090 Ti, which could use the GB202 GPU to its full potential. However, this is still just speculation. If this proves to be true, Nvidia could introduce a variety of models under its “Gaming Blackwell” series, including an RTX 5080 Ti that would complete the range.

Although the specifications of the new generation of graphics cards seem to have been confirmed by various sources, the information should still be taken with a grain of salt. Official information from Nvidia is still pending, and history has shown that information from rumors, which often come from OEMs and suppliers in Asia, is not always final. So these details should be considered preliminary until official confirmation from Nvidia.
