Notion AI is an artificial intelligence service that can be used in a Notion workspace. We officially launched in February 2023, and began offering the beta version of “AI Q&A” in November 2023, a function that uses artificial intelligence to search information stored in Notion and provide answers.
The Notion AI Connector can connect to business applications like Slack to look up information. This time, it supports integration with Slack and allows access to information flow such as message threads and previous message history, reducing information search time and further improving decision-making efficiency.
Q&A improvements with AI now let you narrow your search to specific pages, databases, and team spaces, as well as mentions of people, dates, and pages. In addition, it is now possible to reference blocks within a page as information sources, providing more accurate answers and sources of information. Notion AI also answers general information outside the workspace based on information from OpenAI's “GPT-4”.
Save time with instant answers and context
Simply ask Notion AI a question and it will get relevant information from all your connected apps, reducing the time you spend searching for information. No more time-consuming searches or asking your colleagues.
Fewer tools to find and act on the information you need
While creating content and managing tasks in Notion, you can access information in external business applications from within Notion. There is no need to switch between multiple business apps or AI-powered chat apps.
Reliable search results with privacy in mind
By setting access privileges, you can limit the display of the correct information to the appropriate members. All information is displayed based on your current access privileges, so your data is safe and protected.
One place connects the memories of the entire organization
It automatically extracts the most relevant information from past and existing knowledge, whether officially documented or not, so you can make informed decisions.
