I have a problem that I can’t solve after 4 hours of independent research.
the current situation:
You have set up a small office system. The motherboard is ASUS TUF B450M Gaming Plus II. The first curiosity is that this board can only be found on the *.com page of ASUS. This forum does not exist at *.com/de. I bought it from the alternative.
CPU is Ryzen5 1600
16GB DDR4 Corsair 3200
nVidia GTX260
problem:
I don’t have the bass turn on. Pure stereo playback works.
Previous workaround attempts (failed):
By default, I downloaded and installed the drivers from the ASUS (*.com) page. In the speaker setup configuration, the subwoofer is also correctly recognized. But if music is playing (Foobar2000, YT, Win Media Player), then there is no bass playback. From the past, I could recall the problem that you still have to activate the (bass boost or similar) option in the Windows sound menu. Unfortunately, this option or the entire Extensions tab no longer exists after installing the ASUS driver.
I installed the pure Realtek driver on a trial basis. The tab is here, but it is not recognized that the amplifier is connected to the microphone input.
So I turn in a circle and go no further.
Do any of you have any ideas?
