Next-level racing for gamers in the cockpit of the Ford GT Edition

Available separately, the blue anodized cockpit bezel features the laser-engraved Ford branding and provides an adaptive positioning for an authentic driving experience. The seat includes blue Team Fordzilla-branded seat belts, a Ford GT and Team Fordzilla-branded non-slip floor mat, and a Ford GT logo embossed on the headrest with ergonomics optimized specifically for sim racing. It was developed to give users with a large waist a strong stability and comfortable seating at the same time. The racing cockpit is designed for a weight of up to 250 kg. The steering wheel, pedals and gear shifter are compatible with all major electronics brands. Additionally, the ES1 Ford GT Edition seat can also be used in other gaming cockpits as long as the side seats are supported.

Since its creation in 2019, Team Fordzilla’s mission has been to explore and merge the boundaries of the real and virtual worlds. The latest collaboration with Next Level Racing® continues this effort by offering players a more immersive physical environment for a realistic and fun driving experience in PC racing games.

The new GTElite Ford GT Edition cockpit and ES1 Ford GT Edition seat will be on display at Gamescom 2022, which takes place August 24-28 in Cologne, Germany. Both products will be available through the Next Level Racing® retail channel in the second half of October 2022.

This year’s Gamescom marks the third anniversary of Ford’s official esports team. During those three years, Fordzilla team members not only competed at the highest level in virtual racing events, but the team also participated in Ford activities, including the Free Driver Safety Course on the Right of Way to promote safe driving habits among young people. The Fordzilla team also supported the use of the Ford Gaming Transit, a specially modified transport vehicle that allows children with physical disabilities to access the gaming world through several modifications.
