Fujifilm today announced a new partnership with renowned Swiss CTP manufacturer Lüscher Technologies at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels. As Fujifilm expands its leading digital technologies, this agreement underscores the company’s continued commitment to investing in the future of the analogue business.
By partnering with Lüscher, Fujifilm has secured a global contract to distribute Lüscher MultiDX plate adjusters! And Xpose!. These skillfully designed image separation devices offer Fujifilm’s label and packaging customers a number of advantages.
Resolution options up to 10,160 dpi ensure high image fidelity. Since the printing plates remain stationary during exposure, maximum accuracy is ensured. More advantages: no loss of speed regardless of plate thickness, no time-consuming clamping bars or plate gluing, no risk of printing plates separating during exposure.
In addition, Lüscher’s laser diode technology operates in the 980 nm range for all ablation plates (flexographic printing plates, letterpress and ablation foils).
Fujifilm’s partnership with HYBRID Software, announced at the beginning of the year, also benefits this new collaboration, as several HYBRID RIP options optimized for Lüscher CTP technology are available.
