Philips is expanding its monitor portfolio with two new candidates in the Evnia series, including the 25M2N3200W and 25M2N5200P. The new models are clearly aimed at gamers and, according to Evnia’s own philosophy, should offer the perfect combination of quick response, immersive display and physical comfort.
Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W is equipped with a Fast VA panel, while Evnia 25M2N5200P has a Fast IPS panel. Both displays are based on Full HD resolution in 16:9 format and should allow viewing angles of 178/178 degrees. With refresh rates of 240 or 280 Hz, it should also be possible to render intense action scenes. Among other things, a low input delay and, according to the manufacturer, a fast response time of 0.5ms (MPRT) should contribute to this.
The Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P also features a USB hub and a number of on-screen display features such as MBR Sync, DarkBoost and Smart Crosshair for a smoother gaming experience. In addition, the screen also has SmartImage HDR modes, which should ensure optimal colours, brightness and contrast.
The ergonomic functionality of the monitor is also important for Philips. The two newcomers here should list some features implemented that make the handling easier for the user and should also protect it. Philips LowBlue mode and flicker-free technology are designed to prevent premature eye strain, while the screens of both devices can be individually tilted, swiveled, and height-adjusted using the Compact Ergo stand.
The Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W and Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P are available today at €219 and €309, respectively.
