Stomach vs. Customer: Negative reviews of Augsburg restaurants have been deleted

After leaving critical reviews for Augsburg restaurants, many users receive mail from a “law firm”. The system behind this raises questions.

She also remembered that visit to the café four years ago. Julia Braunmüller (name changed) met with a few friends at Henry’s Coffee on Rathausplatz, a cozy gathering in a popular atmosphere. However, it wasn’t a pleasant experience — because of the café, she said: Food orders weren’t made to order and were incomplete, and side dishes were sometimes lukewarm. So Braunmuller wrote a critical and excellent review on Google and gave it two stars out of five. Topic closed? no. Because now, four years later, the mail has arrived.

Is there a law firm behind “MGS Internet Firm” and “Jana Jentsch”?

The email was sent from Google. We have received a complaint about the review in question, according to the consolidated letter received by our editorial team. “The complainant claims that the designation violates his or her personal rights,” Google wrote. It is therefore decided to remove the review after seven days if you cannot prove that you visited the reviewed site – for example through invoices. The complaint itself is also attached. There, the “law firm MGS Internet” appears as an authorized representative of “Henrys Coffee World AG” and explains, based on several rulings cited, why the Braunmüller review should be deleted. Among other things, the “client”, i.e. Henry’s Coffee, “ignorantly” rejects the client’s contact with the auditor. In simple terms, this means that Henry’s Coffee stated that they did not know whether Ms. Braunmueller was actually a guest or not. This requires Braunmüller to provide proof of the relevant visit.
