NANLITE will launch three models in the PavoSlim series of LED panel lights, the “240B'', the “240C'' and the ''60CL'' in late May 2024.
The PavoSlim 240B Bicolor and 240C RGBWW are two 2 x 2-inch foldable LED panels with high output. PavoSlim 60CL RGBWW is a 2″ x 0.5″ elongated panel ideal for small spaces.
Featuring accurate color rendering and best-in-class light output, these panels join existing PavoSlim 2'x1' and 1'x1' options for instant setup and portable lights powered by AC or battery power.
All PavoSlims come with a soft box and egg box. PavoSlim 60CL comes with a unique quick-release soft box that can be compressed in seconds and stored in a light bag for transport. The PavoSlim 240B and 240C come with a foldable softbox for easy installation and removal.
Bafoslim 240B/240C
Both the PavoSlim 240B and 240C feature a folding hinge design for easy portability and quick setup. The panel is only 2.86 inches thick when opened, making it slim. Maximum output is 22,990 lux at 1m (5600K light only) for PavoSlim 240B and 24,970 lux at 1m (5600K light only) for PavoSlim 240C.
The PavoSlim 240B/240C supports AC power, DC power, V-mount batteries, and supports full output with all power methods. The kit comes standard with a 5m DC connection cable.
The PavoSlim 240C uses NANLITE's advanced RGBWW color mixing technology, with G/M adjustability of ±150 in the range of 2700K to 7500K in CCT mode. The average CRI is 96 and the average TLCI is 97. HSI mode lets you quickly adjust hue, saturation, and light intensity with 36,000 color options. RGBW mode lets you control four independent red, green, blue and white channels for more accurate color reproduction. In addition, it has 151 kinds of color simulation gel built-in, so you can match the scene and add atmosphere, so there is no need to install a physical gel. It also comes with 15 movie and TV lighting effects that can be customized using the controller or remote.
The PavoSlim 240B is a dual-color LED light that supports CCT 2700K-6500K and has an average CRI of 95 and an average TLCI of 97. It comes with 12 effects that mimic real scene lighting effects.
These features make the PavoSlim 240B and 240C ideal for interviews, small and medium-sized studios, and demanding film and TV productions.
Bafoslim 60CL
The PavoSlim 60CL measures 24″ x 6″ and features a separate controller with a built-in power supply. It is said to be particularly suitable for shooting inside a car, in a small space, or in a place with a low ceiling. The practical advantage of this LED panel is that it is lightweight, so it can be installed almost anywhere and even supported on an array for long periods of time if necessary.
Like the PavoSlim 240C, the 60CL features HSI, RGBW, 151 built-in color gel simulations, and 15 movie/TV lighting effects. It also features a green/magenta (G/M) shift function for precise matching with other light sources.
With a maximum output of 7,094 lux at 1m (light only 5600K), the powerful PavoSlim 60CL has almost the same output as its 1'x1' sibling PavoSlim 60C, offering users a choice of different form factors. When combined with the included softbox, the PavoSlim 60CL creates a powerful soft light source that beautifully illuminates your subject.
PavoSlim 60CL supports power supply from AC power, V-mount battery, and NP-F battery. The PavoSlim 60CL supports full power output from any power supply method, and is compatible with both indoor and outdoor scenarios. The kit comes standard with a 2.6m DC connection cable, which can be extended with an optional 2.6m extension cable if required.
Bafoslim features
All PavoSlim LED lights are said to be ideal for use on location, on set and in photo studios. Thin, metal-framed panels are a sturdy alternative to fragile flexible lights, making them stronger and more efficient. The intelligent design places an optical lens in front of each emitter for maximum performance. This results in approximately 4 times the output compared to most similarly sized incandescent bulbs. The metal chassis does not require a fan and dissipates heat effectively.
Each PavoSlim device consists of a panel and an accessory control unit, with physical and remote controls, as well as multiple power options. The controller is designed to attach to the included quick release clip via the quick release plate, allowing it to be mounted to a light stand or truss.
Due to the lightweight panel, PavoSlim LEDs can be mounted on lighter stands, and the controller can be rack mounted for added stability (each PavoSlim 60CL and 240C kit includes a heavy duty clamp). Each corner has a 1/4″-20 threaded hole for adding optional magnetic mounts or other mounting hardware.
Control the light freely
All PavoSlim LED lights can be controlled using a controller, wired DMX/RDM, NANLITE remote or Nanlink app. In addition, the PavoSlim 60CL, 60C, 120C and 240C can also be controlled using the Lumenradio CRMX.
Comes with a carrying bag
All PavoSlim lights come with a Nanlite carrying case. This bag features a slim design and sturdy construction, with reinforced stitching on the outside for added durability. Each bag has internal dividers for quick and convenient storage.
The PavoSlim 60CL, 240B and 240C are scheduled to be on display at the NANLITE booth (booth number: C7119) at NAB 2024, which will be held in Las Vegas from April 14-17, 2024.
