MSI MPG x570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi – CPU LED – No Boot

MSI MPG x570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi – CPU LED – No Boot

Hi, I am facing the following problem, when I start up the computer the screen stays black and the CPU LED on the motherboard lights up red permanently.
Peripherals like mouse and keyboard can’t be turned on either, and no matter how long you leave the computer, nothing will happen.
But as soon as you press the reset button, the computer boots up normally and can also be used normally.
Since I no longer have any advice myself, I hope someone here can help me, as this bothers me a little.
I can’t explain the source of the problem because I haven’t changed anything on the system.
The only thing I did before the problem started was to update Windows and then shut down my PC normally.
Then this problem happened the next day, but I can’t imagine it’s because of that, because the PC doesn’t do anything before the OS.
Also, I use Linux Mint as my main operating system and only use Windows for gaming.

Here is an overview of the entire device:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
  • MB: MSI MPG x570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi
  • RAM: 64 GB G.Skill Trident Z Royal Silver (3600MHZ)
  • OS: Linux Mint (latest version) / Windows 10 Pro (latest version) [Dual Boot]
  • GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM X LHR
  • PSU: Corsair RM 750x White Edition
  • HD/SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB (OS), Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB (Software and Games), WD Blue 4TB (Data and Backups)

What you’ve already tried:

  • Update bios to the latest version
  • Reset BIOS (Clear CMOS)
  • RAM is individually like other RAM
  • Graphics card swapped with Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro + Special Edition
  • Hardware tested in another computer (fully functional)
  • Most of the Bios settings are working automatically because I don’t need OC
  • XMP profile changed or turned off
  • All connections checked, CPU installed/removed and new WLP app installed

The computer turned on without any problems before the aforementioned shutdown, the 8PIN plug on the MB was not forgotten and as I said, nothing has changed.
In addition, the computer is working normally after the reset and the LED indicator also turns off.
I would really appreciate if someone here could help me.
If you have any other questions, I am of course available.

welcome
